- website design/redesign core process -

Phase One, Defining The Project:

Gathering & analyzing the information necessary to clearly identify the scope of the project... discovery, clarification, planning, and kicking off the project!

Phase Two, Developing Site Structure:

The actual hands-on work begins. Developing site structure - determining how to organize information... content-view, site-view, and page-view.

Phase Three, Visual Design & Testing:

The visual design, the look and feel, the graphic interface - the users first experience to a site.

Phase Four, Production & QA:

Where it all comes together. Production merges content, design, and HTML into the completed site... prepping, building, and testing.

Phase Five, Launch & Beyond:

Final tasks before, during, and after your site goes live... delivery, launch, and maintenance!

During these phases, idiom web designs will design your Web site based on artistic design and content which meets all your specific requirements, purpose and goals. We can incorporate existing company logos you provide as well as specific color schemes. A design and site structure will be created with a navigation scheme for your homepage as well as all supporting pages and sub-pages.

Once this design has completely met your approval, the design will be implemented and will begin to come to life. At this time, the content (including text, graphic images, photography, online forms, meta tags and any other components) are integrated into the site. All aspects of the site are tested using different browsers (including different versions), different operating systems and different monitors.

Once everything has undergone this rugged testing, is functioning properly and again has completely met your approval, the site will be uploaded via FTP to your designated web hosting company. It again will undergo complete testing to be assured that everything still functions properly. Any minor changes are corrected and the site then becomes yours!

Once you have your online presence established, it will be necessary to make changes to its content, products, prices, names, phone numbers and addresses for example. It will also be necessary to make these content changes (updates) on a scheduled maintenance routine, such as daily, weekly, monthly or annually. We can maintain your maintenance service contract per your required schedule.

We can also provide "makeovers" to keep your site looking fresh and up-to-date. If your web site isn't currently meeting your expectations and goals, let us give it a "make-over". We can give it some simple finishing touches or totally redesign your site based on your requirements and goals.
